It's shaping up to be an extra special summertime event sponsored by the Italian American Cultural Club on Aug. 2 at St. Florian Hall in Wintersville. The club invites everyone to its ninth-annual Una Serata - Festa delle regioni Italiane, which translated means "An Evening at the Festival of Italian Regions."

Something new is going on this year. Doors open at 5 p.m. for the event where Italian cafes will be set up that guests can stroll through while learning about the foods and traditions from the regions of Abruzzi, Campania, Sicily and Tuscany.

Each region will feature drawings for a special basket.
