Festa Italiana returns to Freedom Hill County Park this weekend with entertainment and activities designed to celebrate the rich heritage of Italian-Americans in Michigan.

The free three-day festival kicks off Friday with the Parade of Clubs and includes a variety of music, food and culture from "the old country" that can be enjoyed by people of all ages and nationalities, according to festival chairman Joe Ventimiglia of the Italian American Cultural Society.
