Something to know about him: Cellini grew up in Springfield but currently lives and works as a documentary writer (for Cinema Verite, Ltd.) and Italian genealogical researcher in Los Angeles and Chicago. He researches Italian genealogy for a fee and holds seminars on the topic.
Cellini will discuss the history of Italians and Italian immigration in Sangamon County at a Sangamon County Historical Society program at 5:30 p.m. Tuesday in the Carnegie Room at Springfield’s Lincoln Library, 326 S. Seventh St. The event is free and open to the public.
