Coming off a triumphant Father’s Day weekend on Oakley Avenue, Ron Onesti is gearing up for a pair of blockbuster Italian-themed summer fests in August. Onesti Entertainment’s Oakley Avenue Festa Pasta Vino was another runaway success, attracting more than 20,000 attendees with its irresistible combination of headline entertainment, authentic cuisine, activities for kids and a host of other cultural attractions, all with an Italian flair.
Another enormous helping of italianità will be served up from Aug. 2 to 5, when Onesti’s Little Italy Fest-West will take Centennial Park in Addison by storm. Capping off a banner summer, Onesti will once again hold sway on Taylor Street, producing Little Italy Festa-Taylor Street for the Little Italy Chicago Neighborhood Association.
