For the third year in a row, the Joint Civic Committee of Italian Americans will stage the Columbus Day Parade on its old stomping ground: State Street. "I'm proud that one of my legacies will be to return the Columbus Day Parade to State Street," JCCIA President Frank Cerrone says.
According to JCCIA Executive Director JoAnn Serpico, the event made the move from Columbus Drive two years ago thanks to the joint efforts of John Coli, Dominic DiFrisco, Giovanni Gullo, Louis Rago and former Italian Consul General Adriano Monti.
