Dearly beloved compatriots, I assumed the duties of Consul in Detroit on April 19 and I would like to extend a warm greeting to you, honored to represent a community that has long animated the Italian presence in this constituency of the United States of America.
I am taking over until September from my colleague Allegra Baistrocchi, to whom I extend warm personal good wishes and best compliments for the excellent work she is doing together with all the Consulate staff.
I will enthusiastically meet with the entities, businesses and associations and listen to any useful consideration in the meeting occasions, with the aim of optimizing where possible the management of consular services and in general to support Italian capabilities in strengthening bilateral relations.
In the meantime, to all of you I express sincere gratitude for the many activities you carry out in enhancing the culture of our country with traditions and with the most advanced modernity.
