The Italian Heritage Society of Indiana will be participating this year’s AES 500 Festival Parade! The parade starts promptly at noon on Saturday, May 28, the eve of the Indianapolis 500 race. More than 300,000 spectators are expected to line the streets of Indianapolis, joined by another one million TV viewers around the country, to enjoy one of the nation’s premiere parades.
As a member of the Nationalities Council of Indiana (NCI), the Society is invited to participate with over 45 Indianapolis cultural/ethnic organizations. If you will attend the parade, be sure to watch for us, wave, and shout out “Viva l’Italia!” or view the telecast locally on WTHR Channel 13 and nationally on NBC Sports Network.
