Council Votes 'No' on St. Peter's Historic Landmark Designation

The Duluth City Council on Monday night voted down an ordinance that would designate St. Peter's church a local historic landmark.


The Heritage Preservation Commission (HPC) voted in October to nominate St. Peter's for designation. It is a historic Catholic church built by Italian Americans almost two centuries ago.
