Mention the words "glass art" and the first name that comes to mind is likely to be Dale Chihuly. Which is understandable, considering the popularity of his current display at Denver Botanic Gardens.
But someone equally as talented, and as well-known, is Lino Tagliapietra of Italy. Pieces he has created can be seen in such prestigious venues as the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York City; the Smithsonian American Art Museum in Washington, D.C.; the de Young Museum in San Francisco; and the Victoria and Albert Museum in London.
