The Orlando Family Foundation Annual Gala took place on January 28, 2017. Sam Orlando addressed the guests and expressed that the past 17 years of planning this event has been a blessing for his family. Sam’s family is from Little Italy in Downtown St Louis and he is very proud of his Italian Heritage.
He spoke of his father who served during WWII and fought in the Battle of the Bulge. A small table was set in honor of his father with the his US Service Flag and bible. The foundation has raised nearly $900,000 for charity in the past 16 years. This year that is expected to exceed $1,000,000, an accomplishment that was never imagined when this journey began. Sam and his lovely wife, Jan, was very gracious and thanked everyone for their support.
