On June 9th, the local Order Sons of Italy in America Lodge #1734 will hold their annual action. The goal of this year's event will be to raise money for many local charities including college scholarships for WHS students, Alzheimer's research, Cooley's Anemia Foundation, Autism research, Casa Monte Cassino and Wakefield Public Schools Special Needs Christmas Party.

Usually there are over 50 items were up for grabs. The interesting thing is, the items will be completely wrapped, so guests didn't know what they were bidding on! Also available will be a selection of gift cards where the retailer or restaurant is revealed. Master of Ceremonies and Auctioneer, Paul Guida, is expected to be quite entertaining as usual.
