Italian in Connecticut week continues in Waterbury. The mills drew them to Waterbury and they left their mark with the architecture.
The brass mills and other industries in Waterbury were the big draw decades ago. The mills may have closed, but many of those Italian families are still thriving, and the Italian influence is all around, you just have to know where to look.
