The East Haven Rotary Club will hold an “Anginetti Wars” fundraiser, a competition for bakers of the iconic Italian cookies, April 6 from 6 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. at St. Vincent de Paul Church Hall, 80 Taylor Ave. Anginetti are the cakey, frosted cookies Italian-Americans make for holidays and special occasions. Prizes will be awarded for Best Tasting Cookie, Most Decorative Cookie and Most Creative Table Display.

Complete information and registration forms are available on the local Rotary website at www.easthavenrotary.org, at the mayor’s office in Town Hall or at South Shore Laundromat, 662 Coe Ave. There is a $20 entry fee.
