More than 100 people enjoyed the Figli d'Italia (Order of the Sons of Italy) Christopher Columbus Halloween dinner and party at the Knights of Columbus last Saturday. "It raises money for charitable donations and scholarships in Saugus, Lynn and Lynnfield," local Chapter President Janis Stanziani said of the 25-year annual event. "It was a nice party," said Lorraine Mangione, who was visiting from North Hampton.

Given the party was close to Halloween, Mangione, among others, wore a mask to celebrate. Among those attending was Anthony Sistito, state president of Figli d'Italia. As state president Sistito is also on the national council of the organization. "We're a fraternal organization, but we do quite a bit of charity work," Sistito said.
