For local artist Anna Badini, life is about constantly seeking, though not for anything in particular. Instead, Badini said it’s the journey, searching and seeing where life takes her, that she finds most fulfilling. “I search as if searching is living, is life,” she said. “And, I am attracted to anything that is meaningful, that has an emotional or aesthetic resonance - anything that rings a bell.”
That searching is what Badini explores in much of her painting, and what she hopes to convey in her first solo show, which opens Friday at the Loft Artists Association at 575 Pacific St. The show will open with a reception in the Phillips Gallery from 6 to 9 p.m. Friday and will remain on display until July 8.
