Get ready for some pizza fritta, the annual Amerigo Vespucci Lodge #160 festival returns to Danbury this weekend. The festival runs Friday through Sunday at the lodge, 10 Christopher Columbus Ave. It celebrates Italian heritage with Italian food, music and kids’ activities. Admission and parking is free.
Italian DJ Joey Autuoro will perform Friday, live band Pane e Ciocollato will play Saturday and Eduardo Marques will perform Sunday. Traditional Italian food including homemade Pizza Fritta will be available throughout the festival. Amerigo Vespucci Lodge #160 was established in 1924.
