In celebrating Italians in Connecticut this week, Louis Nesci and Don Maleto are telling their family history. Lots of families' stories get lost throughout the years. They say to always ask the elders in your family about your history – you may just be surprised from what you learn!
The Nesci Institute of Genealogical Studies was founded in 2014 by cousins Louis Nesci and Donald Maleto. The primary mission of NIOGS is to tell the family history of the Nesci family through genealogical studies. Future goals of NIOGS is to bring together families from Southern Italy who immigrated to America.
