Italianissimo 2015 takes place "sotto le stelle" in the enchanting Washburn Pavilion of Boston's Museum of Science on Friday, September 25th. With a unique view of the Charles River, bordered by the skylines of Boston and Cambridge, guests will enjoy an experience reminiscent of an evening in Trastevere punctuated by evocative sounds, sights, and authentic Cucina Romana.

Award winning Chef Dante de Magistris has planned a sumptuous feast of classic Roman dishes and paired wines. Musicians from the Berklee School of Music, the North End Music and Performing Arts Center and Sounds of Italy will delight with Italian musical selections. The evening will be emceed by TV personalities Jenny Johnson and Jared Bowen and will include three spectacular live auction items that will literally transport you to Italy. And, the first Thomas M. Menino Awards will be presented by Mrs. Angela Menino. The awards sponsored by the Friends of the Italian Cultural Center will be presented annually honoring those of Italian heritage who have made a lasting contribution in "giving back" to the community.
