On Wednesday, April 29, students from Medford High School Italian classes attended the Boston Lyric Opera's final dress performance of Mozart's "Don Giovanni" at the Shubert Theatre in Boston. Forty free tickets were given to us by the educational department of the Boston Lyric Opera.
The bus to take us to the Shubert Theatre and back was paid from the scholarship fund of a former Medford High School Italian teacher, Michelina Pietrangelo, who left a bequest to be used for Italian activities and scholarships.
