Casa Emigranti Italiani, a not for profit Connecticut corporation whose mission is to promote Italian culture and history, will present a pictorial exhibit on the history of Italian migration to Hartford. The exhibit will run from 10-5 to 10-30 and is being held in the corridor connecting the Legislative Office Building to the State Capital.
Making use of vintage photos supplied by our member as well as historical photos and articles from various sources the exhibit will trace the arrival of the first Italian immigrants, the working and living conditions they found, review the Front Street saga and razing and pay tribute to some of the leading Italians and Italian Americans who have contributed so much to our State.
