The Sons of Italy of Norwalk will hold its annual Marconi Scholarship Dinner at 7 p.m. on Saturday, May 16, at Chatham Manor. The scholarship fund was established in 1965 for deserving high school graduates of Italian descent pursuing four year degree programs.
This year's recipients are David Newsom and Jessica Somma who will receive $4,000 and $1,000 respectively. The club will honor the recipients with a dinner dance and Carlo Carlozzi, an officer from the National Order of the Sons of Italy, will be the speaker.
