Harrison students who study the Italian language and culture in the classroom were honored at the Antonio Meucci Lodge on October 7th in a ceremony recognizing students from middle and high schools across Westchester County.
As part of Italian Heritage month, students are nominated by their teachers in Levels II through V/International Baccalaureate for their love and dedication to Italian language and culture. The LMK Italian teachers include Dana Jakubowski, Christina Zaccagnino and Enzina Zaino and the Harrison High School Italian teachers are Maria Battipaglia, Maria Conte, and Cristina Distasio.
