Che cos’hanno in comune un Papa argentino (Bergoglio), un sindaco americano (Bill De Blasio) e un pilota di Formula 1 australiano (Daniel Ricciardo)? Apparentemente nulla. In realtà fanno parte di una stessa famiglia che, sempre meno silenziosa e sempre più in crescita, sta consolidando il proprio ruolo nel mondo: gli italici.
Ed è proprio su questo concetto e su questo valore che si fonda il libro Let’s Wake Up, italics! Manifesto for a Glocal Future, scritto da Piero Bassetti (imprenditore, politico e primo presidente di Regione Lombardia nel 1970) ed edito, nella sua versione tradotta in inglese, dal John D. Calandra Italian American Institute.
