The Niagara County Genealogical Society will host the free program “Organizing Your Genealogy” at 7 p.m. Wednesday at the Niagara History Center, 215 Niagara St. Presenter Michelle Ann Kratts will detail the key principles and basic strategies for organizing genealogy research.
Kratts is a local history and adult services librarian at Lewiston Public Library. She has written, edited or contributed to several books of local interest including “The Missed: Tales of Spirit and Tragic End at Niagara,” “Haunted: True Tales of Niagara,” “Anna Edson Taylor, the Queen of Oakwood,” “Angels on the Battlefield: Niagara’s Civil War Past,” “The Italians of Niagara Falls” (volumes I and II), “Buon Appetito: Niagara’s Early Italian-American Culinary Traditions” and, most recently, “Niagara Falls in World War II.”
