THANK YOU!

As you may already know, since 2009 The Italian Cultural Foundation at Casa Belvedere has been educating the general public, but more importantly, the next generation via arts and cultural enrichment programs. Casa Belvedere's programs and activities are particularly empowering for participants to better understand and identify with the positive contributions of Italians and Italian-Americans to this great nation. For those who aren't of Italian origin, Casa Belvedere's myriad of arts and cultural program offerings provide a Renaissance learning experience, as well as a place to call their home away from home.

Serving the community in this capacity is what we do best, but we need your help! We are literally "bursting at the seams" and face numerous daily challenges by having only 3,500 square feet of the 14,000 square feet "Casa" currently functional. Once the second and third floors' additional 8,000 square feet of space is available, Casa Belvedere will over triple its legal occupancy and attract thousands more to a multitude of programs, exhibits and events that can be offered simultaneously.

Thankfully, the Richmond County Savings Foundation (RCSF) Board of Trustees recognizes the value of our work as well as our need for expansion and recently committed $150,000.00 towards our capital improvements, "Saving a Staten Island Treasure" campaign. Also, RCSF Board members are hopeful that this notable award will spur others to match, if not surpass, their $150,000.00 award before year's end.

That being said, time is of the essence. Your pledge will bring us that much closer to our $150,000.00 year end goal and truly accelerate Casa Belvedere's transformation from a once private home to a leading New York City Arts and Cultural hub.

Please keep in mind that this magnificent landmark building was built in 1908 by the granddaughter of John Roebling and is listed on the National Register of Historic places. Also, Casa Belvedere is located atop prestigious Grymes Hill, Staten Island boasting spectacular views of the Verrazano Bridge and surrounded by three acres of sprawling property. Your noble contribution will help preserve the building in perpetuity, enhance New York City's historically significant and beautiful landscape, and add to the City's arts and cultural destinations.

A donation can be made by mail, phone or online by clicking the link to the above right. Upon receipt of your donation, a contribution acknowledgement that can be used for tax purposes will be mailed to you immediately.

Thank you very much for your consideration.
