The Order Sons of Italy in America Fr. Vincent R. Capodanno Lodge #212, furious with the rebranding of the Staten Island Yankees, have pulled out of attending the July 21 Pizza Rats game, thus canceling the team's Italian Heritage Night that same day at Richmond County Bank Ballpark at St. George.

It's the fourth of five Saturday games the team will play as the Pizza Rats, one of many promotions the New York Yankees' Class A affiliate, which plays in the New York-Penn League, has planned this season. The first Pizza Rats game is Saturday at 7 p.m. when the the Island team takes on the Aberdeen Ironbirds at 7 p.m. The team is expecting a big crowd.
