A free festival that celebrates Italian-American culture will return to Staten Island in October, Borough President James Oddo announced Wednesday. The second annual "Rome Through Richmond Town" will return to Historic Richmond Town on Oct. 10 with food and live music, Oddo said.
"Last year's event was a resounding success and we hope to build on that success to make this year's festival even better," Oddo said in a statement. "Our goal is to provide Staten Islanders with a celebration of the contributions made by those of Italian descent. The event will be informative, educational and a whole lot of fun."
