The Center for Italian Modern Art invites you to join us for the Giorgio Morandi Study Days this Thursday and Friday, May 19 + 20! We have a rich program of talks planned, with experts from Italy and the U.S. Hear about recent scientific studies of Morandi's technique; about Morandi's collectors in the 1930s; about Morandi's fortunes in the USA; and more. Speakers include Donna De Salvo of the Whitney Museum of American Art;Alessia Masi, curator of the Museo Morandi in Bologna; Flavio Fergonzi, professor at the Scuola Normale in Pisa; CIMA's Fellows, and others!
Lunch is provided on May 19. The program will conclude on May 20 with a reception. Come enjoy the exhibition and a chance to learn more about Morandi. All are welcome!
