NACC to host Italian Night on Monday

A special evening celebrating Italian culture will be held at 6:30 p.m. Monday at the Niagara Arts and Cultural Center, to mark the opening of an Italian consulate in the building. The Niagara Falls art center will be transformed into an Italian palazzo for this special evening, which will feature a strolling violinist playing traditional favorites, Italian voices raised both in song and greeting and a lecture and book signing by Christopher Kelly, author of "Italy Invades: How Italians Conquered the World ".

This event will be the first hosted by the newly arrived Italian Honorary Vice Consulate, Lucia Caracci Ederer and her assistant Dr. Elisa Ridolfi Wareham at the NACC. The new consulate office opened recently on the first floor of the building. The event will begin with a meet and greet reception with the vice consulate featuring violinist, Gregory Docenko.
