She's back! In a return performance, former Woodrow resident Candice Guardino will star in "Italian Bred," a production set for Nov. 3 at 8 p.m. in the Center for the Arts at the College of Staten Island. FYI: "Italian Bred" is based on true life events and told through the eyes of a little girl growing up Italian on Staten Island.
Guardino slips in and out of multiple family characters while she shares the stage with Emmy winner Steve Schirripa ("The Sopranos," "Blue Bloods"), Mario Cantone ("Sex & the City"), Leslie Jordan ("Will and Grace") and Vic Dibitetto ("Mall Cop 2"), who make virtual cameos on a projector screen.
