SI North Shore Esplanade to Host Italian Heritage On The Esplanade

H.E.A.L.T.H. Youths, New Brighton Civic Committees, acclaimed Chef Massimo Felici, Community Organizer Ronnie Gambon, The Staten Island Children’s Museum, The Office of Public Advocate Jumaane Williams, Project Hospitality, The Healthcare Education Project, and community partners are thrilled to announce the inaugural Italian Heritage on the Esplanade Event!

This exciting community celebration aims to unite Staten Island residents for a day filled with fun, creativity, and cultural appreciation. Set to take place on the beautiful SI North Shore Esplanade, across from 300 Richmond Terrace, this event will feature a wide array of activities and attractions designed for all ages. The festivities will be enlivened by DJ Storm and supported by Mangin Media.

“The Italian Heritage Festival is open to everyone—residents, businesses, civic organizations, school groups, sports teams, families, and elected officials,” said Heather Butts, one of the event organizers. “We invite the entire community to come together for a fun-filled family day.”

• Location: SI North Shore Esplanade, across from 300 Richmond Terrace
• Time: 12 PM to 3 PM
• Activities Include:
o Music by DJ Storm
o A reading area featuring Italian Heritage books
o Italian Heritage arts and crafts
o Delicious food provided by Chef Massimo Felici of Vinum and Don Cheech
o And much more!

In recent months, community leaders and civic associations have been revitalizing the long-neglected Esplanade through volunteer clean-ups and special events, paving the way for this celebration of culture and community.
