University of North Georgia is looking for an Italian instructor to teach a joint class (Italiano 1001/2001) Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays, 9:00 to 9:50 a.m. Classes start August 19, 2013 and run through the first week of December. We already have a dozen students signed up for the 1001 and 2 returning students for the 2001 portion.
The instructor should be a native-speaker or comparable. We use the textbook Avanti. Pay is $35/hour. We hope to build our Italian language program to complement our already flourishing Art, Cinema, Music, Theater and Literature programs. The University of North Georgia now includes four campuses and about 15,000 students. The campus is located 5 miles south of Gainesville in Oakwood, Georgia 30566 - a 50 minute drive from Atlanta, all interstate, first I-85, then I-985, exit 16 with easy access. Instructors who live in the vicinity of campus will be preferred. If you have questions, contact Dr. Steven Crawford at 678.450.6617 or 678.717.3637. Email: [email protected]
