With Memorial Day weekend just days away, Caffe Luna Rosa in Delray Beach will once again have a table set-up but empty – a Missing Man Table – in tribute to servicemen and servicewomen who were never able to return home. The table will include a folded flag, a Bible, a lit candle, a flower, and a plate with a slice of lemon and salt.
This special table is the brainchild of Caffe Luna Rosa Manager Aaron Hallyburton, who joined the restaurant in 2016 after serving 20 years in the U.S. Navy, 13 of them aboard three giant aircraft carriers (Enterprise, Kitty Hawk, John F. Kennedy) and two amphibious assault ships (Bataan, Tarawa).
