Thanks to the efforts and dedication of Linda Biondi, the annual Veterans Day parade in Cape Coral is in very good hands. Not even a hurricane could disrupt the planning of this popular and much-anticipated event. When Hurricane Irma hit the region in early September, it threw a pretty big curveball to residents and businesses. And to parade planners like Biondi.
“With the hurricane, the applications got lost in the shuffle,” Biondi said. “But it’s starting to come together now.”It’s all systems go for the 2017 Veterans Day parade, which is hosted by the City of Cape Coral and takes place on Nov. 11 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. and celebrates all veterans.
