The Italian Ministry of Culture and the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs / Consulate General of Italy in Miami presents un it unescoitalia, a photographic exhibition highlighting historic cities, monuments, works of art, sculpture and landscapes located in Italy's 47 UNESCO World Heritage Sites.
Taken by some of the most notable Italian contemporary artists, the travelling exhibition is grouped according to historical periods, architectural styles, the country's regions and social framework. Accompanying the exhibit is a video containing clips from classical Italian films shot in the world heritage sites. Participating photographers include: Olivo Barbieri, Gabriele Basilico, Gianni Berengo Gardin, Giuseppina Caltagirone, Luca Campigotto, Dario Coletti, Vittore Fossati, William Guerrieri, Mimmo Jodice, Giuseppe Leone, Marc Le Simple, Raffaella Mariniello, Luciano Romano and Ferdinando Scianna.
