"It's time to bring it back," said president Nick Cantore, as 100 mostly couples arrived for an evening of Italian food, wine and music to celebrate St. Joseph's Day.
The first Fiesta di San Giuseppe Dinner Dance on March 21 was part the Order of Sons of Italy Sgt. Frederick M. Bonanno Lodge #2549's ongoing events to protect and preserve their Italian heritage. And celebrating the patron saint of Sicily is one way to bring back the kind of street fairs most of the members remember from their childhood, Cantore said in brief remarks on stage in the Our Lady of Lourdes church fellowship center O'Shea Hall on the West Boca campus.
