The Sons of Italy presented Special Olympics of St. Johns County with a check for $502 at the organization's April 10 meeting. Zack King and his mother, Leah, accepted the check for the local Special Olympics chapter.
The money was raised in a Bocce Ball Tournament at the St. Augustine Pier in March, where 11 teams competed.
