The movement emphasized rejection of the past and traditions, defending anti-classical style oriented towards the future, and responsiveness to the dynamism of modern techniques and industrialization. Tommaso Marinetti's revolutionary ideas were not limited to art, but like other movements, it sought to transform lifestyle. The lecture will explore the movement's impact on painting, cinema and literature.
