This holiday season, the Oklahoma City Museum of Art, 415 Couch Drive, is presenting "Christmas Italian Style," a curated, 14-film series spanning nearly seven decades of Italian film history. The series launches Thursday and continues through Dec. 30, according to a news release.
“'Christmas Italian Style' is our largest holiday series to date,” said Michael J. Anderson, director of curatorial affairs, in a statement. “We’re thrilled to have this opportunity to highlight the incredible depth and vitality of the Italian Cinema—from iconic masterpieces like Vittorio Di Sica’s 'Bicycle Thieves' and Roberto Rossellini’s 'Rome Open City' to newly restored and rediscovered gems like Ermanno Olmi’s humanist epic 'The Tree of Wooden Clogs' or Alberto Lattuada’s hilarious dark comedy 'Mafioso.'
