Dear Friends, in an effort to protect our patrons, community, and volunteers Little Italy’s 93rd Annual Italian Festival Scheduled for October 3rd has been cancelled. As disappointed as you are, please know that the volunteers and families of Little Italy are devastated as well. Remember that nearly 100 years of tradition for us has been disrupted and we are heartbroken.
Usually September for us in Little Italy is filled with baking traditional Italian foods to share with you, spending time laughing and enjoying our culture together, and preparing to welcome you into our festival family. To keep our festival alive in its 93rd year, we are looking at options to celebrate our Italian heritage privately in our homes to commemorate the courage of our founders over a century ago.
This year will be different and the “festival” will be within our own families and not public, know that we are already looking forward to 2021 and hope that next year will be safe for everyone to enjoy the Italian Festival once more!
