A new flower in the current "Italian Spring" in San Francisco will blossom on Sunday January 31, 2016, at the Oshman Family Jewish Community Center in Palo Alto (3921 Fabian Way): the first ever Silicon Valley Italian Festival. Sponsored by all stripes of the Italian community, from the Italian Consulate General in San Francisco to Cloud4Wi, an Italian startup that sells an innovative cloud Wi-Fi platform.
Attendees will be treated to a through Italy during a day centered around the country's culture and traditions. There will also be a series of events for both adults and children including two Italian movies, cooking classes for the family and talks ranging on topics from the most significant monuments in Sicily to the secrets of a good espresso and a delicious pizza, storytelling for kids and more. And what is an Italian Festival without a market of high quality made-in-Italy goods. You may forget you are in California and feel as if you're browsing the shops of Florence on the Ponte Vecchio.
