An Italian interurban trolley that came to Issaquah by way of San Francisco made a tractor-assisted run through downtown Friday in preparation for a trip to Oregon. The red-and-cream-colored trolley, acquired by the Issaquah History Museums in 2002, had sat next to the trolley barn since May 2003.
It is not to be confused with the restored No. 519 Issaquah Valley Trolley that makes summer runs from the Issaquah Depot Museum. The trolley that inched its way down the tracks Friday is in need of a total restoration and is on its way to the Oregon Electric Railway Museum in Brooks, Ore.
