Amedeo Arena

Amedeo Arena is a Law Professor at the University of Naples Federico II and serves on the American Philosophical Society’s Committee for the 250th Anniversary of the Declaration of Independence. He has delivered several talks and curated an exhibit focusing on the Filangieri-Franklin correspondence. His archival research prompted the American Philosophical Society to posthumously acknowledge the election of the Neapolitan intellectual Domenico Cirillo as its first Italian member in 1768.
