For anyone who has ever had to clean out an overflowing garage, consider the problem faced by Tony Shooshani: He has too many Ferraris. Shooshani, of Beverly Hills, is putting eight of his prized, rare Ferraris up for sale to make room for a bevy of new ones. The sleek cars, headed for the block at the Gooding and Company auction in Scottsdale, Ariz., on Jan. 30, have a combined estimated value of up to $13 million.
They range from a 1988 Ferrari 328 GTS, valued at between $125,000 to $150,000, to a 1995 Ferrari F50, expected to fetch between $2.5 million and $2.9 million. To those who know their Ferraris, each of the cars has a unique purpose or place in history. The 1969 Dino 206 GT ($700,000 to $800,000) was one of only 153, the auction house says.
