The windows at 160 Greenwich Ave. are popping with color, as the name Leggiadro -- Italian for "light and airy" -- was recently painted in a cheerful pink, heralding a new women's clothing store known for its bright colors.
The store, which is set to open in early May, marks the 14th Leggiadro location in the country, and will be swiftly followed by the 15th, set to open in Chicago later this year. "Leggiadro is all about color," said Ann Ross, founder of the company, which she started 30 years ago this spring.
