For some, the allure of the Maserati Ghibli is its sleek design and luxurious feel. For others, it's the fine Italian leather interior, Ferrari engine and Brembo brakes. But for many, it's simply the "basso profundo," as Italians like to call the car's rumbling. The resounding tone is present no matter how fast the luxury car is going.
"Italian cars are much like Italian people," said Shima Fukano, Maserati specialist at the new Maserati of Westport. "It's all about pure enjoyment of life, but they're also loud." The dealership officially opened last month at 1026 Post Road East and has already sold more than 25 of its luxury vehicles.
