Raffaele Caruso SpA, an Italian suitmaker backed by China's Fosun International Ltd. (656), yesterday opened its first store, in New York, the initial step in a plan to create a global retail network for the luxury tailor.
Caruso, which makes suits for companies including Christian Dior SA, plans to open a "flagship" outlet every six months, Chief Executive Officer Umberto Angeloni said in an interview in its store in New York yesterday. The company plans shops in Milan next year and in Shanghai in 2016, he said.
