Car enthusiasts (and foodies) who didn’t get enough after watching “Ford v Ferrari” are in luck. Food historian and author Francine Segan will present two talks and tastings that take a closer look at the car and food culture of the Emilia-Romagna region of Italy known as "Motor Valley."
Located in the north-central part of the country, it is home to an unusually high concentration of two and four-wheel luxury brands, including Ferrari, Dallara, Lamborghini, Maserati, Pagani, Ducati. “Italy's Motor Valley: Fast Cars, Slow Food” attendees, who can nibble on Italian gourmet specialties and classic cocktails, will be able to learn about the area’s 15 car museums and 19 private vintage car collections and the Motor Valley Fest 2020, a four-day festival —“dedicated to the world of engines.”
