The Gallery at Reinstein|Ross in the West Village (30 Gansevoort Street - New York, NY 10014) will be hosting a reception for the artist Chiara Scarpitti this coming Friday, December 8th from 3-7pm. Her exhibition, Poetic Adornments, is currently on view through January 15th, 2015. Chiara is a well respected artist and educator from Italy. She is based in Naples but works mostly in Milan. She is currently a Research and Ph.D Fellow in Design at University of Campania focusing on Post Digital Manufacturing.
Her work combines exquisite images inspired by nature, anthropology, and poetry that she prints on silk and sets into hand-made silver or steel bezels. The Gallery at Reinstein|Ross is the only gallery to permanently exhibit the jewelry of world-renowned Italian born architect and designer Gaetano Pesce.
