It was a long journey by boat, but all eight pieces -- that once put together will form the four legs of the NY Wheel -- arrived at Brooklyn Marine Terminal. "The first major components of the Wheel are arriving," said New York Wheel founder and CEO Rich Marin at a press conference at Brooklyn Marine Terminal on Tuesday.

"These pieces came in yesterday and they are being unloaded today. ...One piece weighs 275 tons," he added, noting all work on the wheel is being completed by union crews.
